As a lifelong conservative Christian, Jason is pro-life and pro-family. He believes that Kentucky should be a place where families thrive, and that our policies should support family growth in the Commonwealth. He is a strong supporter of the Second Amendment and proudly fights to support and defend all Kentuckians' constitutional rights.Â
EDUCATING KENTUCKY'S NEXT GENERATION
Jason believes that every child in Kentucky should graduate high school with the abilities to do all essential reading, writing, math, and science in their everyday lives, and most importantly, a complete understanding of and appreciation for the civic system of which every American adult becomes part. He believes funding and training should focus on ensuring that every Kentucky child has the ability to reach their potential within that structure.
STRENGTHENING KENTUCKY'S ECONOMY
During his tenure in Frankfort, Jason has dedicated himself to effectively stewarding and spending taxpayer dollars. Jason has overseen the use of one-time dollars to make one-time investments, facilitating transformational infrastructure development across the Commonwealth. He has also led the charge to lower Kentucky's income tax, leaving more money in the pockets of Kentuckians, empowering them to save, invest, and spend in ways that benefit their own families and communities. In doing all of this, he has still created and maintained the healthiest Budget Reserve Trust Fund in the history of Kentucky.
SUPPORTING KENTUCKY'S FARMERS
Raised on his family's farm, Jason understands the hard work that our farmers undertake to feed the Commonwealth and the nation. He knows the issues that our farmers and their families face, and is a strong advocate for agriculture in Frankfort. Jason supports creating new markets for Kentucky farmers, and making capital investments to improve on-farm operations across Kentucky.
